This relaxing tour, is especially designed for those that love wines and wish to

learn more about Rome’s countryside.

The journey starts with pick up from your hotel in Rome at 9.00 am

within Rome’s city centre. Your private english speaking driver will escort you

to the area of the Castelli Romani, the famous hills known as “Roman Castles”.

As soon as you arrive ,a guide of the winery, will take you on a mini tour across the vineyards,

to show you the same old farming techniques has been adopting for centuries.

Travel into the past of the wine-making, listening to the stories and experiences of this historic land.

Time to taste the famous Frascati wine !

We will guide you through a wine tasting of the three wines of the family production :

Frascati Superiore DOCG white wine, the Vagnolo IGP red wine, as well as the Frascati

Doc white wine. You will also have an oil tasting of the family’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

After the wine tasting you’ll move the down town of Frascati, renowned for its charming and  relaxed atmosphere,

offering great scenery and fresh air. You will have some free time to walk around the city ,where there are many

interesting venues to visit.For lunch, your driver will suggest you a nice local trattorias where you will get home

made food. Then you’ll continue the tour to Castel Gandolfo, considered by many be one of Italy’s most scenic hill

towns, overlooking the volcanic Lake Albano. The place is famous for the Papal summer Residence that has since

been turned into a museum by Pope Francis. Here It’s possible to visit the Apostolic Palace of Castel Gandolfo, where

the pope spends his summers, as well as the Vatican Observatory. Castel Gandolfo is also home to ancient Roman

ruins, a former castle and a stunning hidden natural bath inside a darkened cave.

At the end the tour you’ll drive back to your hotel in Rome.
