DESCRIPTION

This Tour has been designed for those clients who wish to enjoy for the first time the highlights of the Rome. Skipping the Lines and enter through Ancient Rome with no waiting at the queues for the Colosseum and Vatican Museum.

Your driver we will pick you up at your hotel around 8.00 a.m. and he’ll drive to the Highlights of Rome. The first stop will be the Colosseum, originally called the Flavian Amphitheatre. It is considered one of the greatest works of Roman architecture and Roman engineering occupying a site just east of the Roman Forum its construction started between 72 AD by the emperor Vespasian and was completed in 80 AD by his son Titus. Next stop will be the Circus Maximus, the large ancient stadium for chariot races. Some may recognize this location as where they shot the movie “Ben Hur” in 1959, one of the most admired films concerning Ancient Rome. Behind the stadium you will see the Palatine Hill, also know as the Caesars Palace. The driving countinues to the City Hall of Rome we will stop at the Piazza Venezia where you will see the Vittorio Emanuele Monument, called by the locals the “wedding cake” because of all the different styles the Monument was built with. Pantheon will be our next stop, following the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. We’ll have a stop for lunch in a typical Italian Restaurant where you’ll enjoy theHome made Pizza or Pasta. After will be the time to visit the Vatican Museum where you will be able to admire the vast collection of masterpieces, including the Raphael Rooms, the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter Basilica. It will take minimum 2 hours to visit the Museums.Then ready to go back to the Hotel, tired but happy !
